COVID-19 or corona 19 is a major concern for everyone in the country.
In these times, the best thing that we can do is to practice good hygiene.
Here are the guidelines for the general public for COVID-19
First, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water, and do not touch your face with unwashed hands.
Cover your sneezes or coughs with the inner part of your elbow.
Wear masks when visiting hospitals or health centers and avoid visiting crowded places if possible.
Avoid contact with people with fever or respiratory symptoms.
This is even more pertinent if you are in the high risk group, like pregnant women, the elderly or have chronic disease.
If you think you possibly have symptoms, like fever, coughing or sore throat, do not go out to work or school and stay home.
If high fever persists for three to four days and your symptoms get worse, call the KCDC at 1339 or local code plus 120 before going to a triage health center; be sure to put on a mask and take a personal vehicle.
Fully disclose your travel and contact history with medical professionals.
If you live in regions with COVID 19 outbreaks,
Avoid going outside or to other regions.
For those in isolation, please completely adhere to guides provided to you by physicians and public health authorities.
We are currently in the highest “red” alert level for COVID-19, and it’s imperative to follow these guidelines for your health and the safety of those around you.
